Fourstones - South Tyne - Fourstones Rapids

The upper limit at the top of the Beat is marked by a scaffolding pole, approximately one third of the way up the rapids, which run into the first pool.

When fishing at medium height, the flow runs down the middle of the pool.

Fish from the marker post to the bottom of the rapids; then fish from the bank as a deep channel runs tight into the left bank (which can be productive at lower flows) towards the tail of the pool.
